Although a mouse is the most convenient tool for navigating within the R&S ZVA Help system, it is possible to access all active and interactive elements by means of the front panel keys. The following sections give an overview.

To access the tabs in the navigation pane...

  1. Press the MENU key in the SUPPORT keypad to activate the menu bar.

 

  1. Press the Cursor Right key in the NAVIGATION keypad twice to move the cursor to the View menu.

  1. Press OK ENTER in the NAVIGATION keypad to expand the menu.

 

  1. Press the Cursor Down key in the NAVIGATION keypad repeatedly until you reach the desired tab.

The tab is activated and the cursor is automatically moved into the tab.


To access the topic pane and its active elements...

By default, one of the tabs in the navigation pane is active when the Help is opened. To switch over to the topic pane (and back), use the Switch Pane menu command.

  1. Press the MENU key in the SUPPORT keypad to activate the menu bar.

 

  1. Press the Cursor Right key in the NAVIGATION keypad three times to move the cursor to the Switch Pane! menu.

  1. Press OK ENTER in the NAVIGATION keypad to switch over to the topic pane.

 


To control active elements...

The navigation and topic panes of the Help system contain various types of active elements.

The list below only contains the most important control keys for Help navigation. Some setup keys provide additional shortcuts. While the Help is open, all front panel controls do not act on the NWA application, so there is no risk of corrupting the measurement by inadvertently hitting keys.
